NEPAL TAKING REVENGE OF INDIAN BLOCKADE

Neighboring country Nepal is taking revenge of 2015 Indian blockade. Nepal has taken a big step to stop buying vegetables and fruits from India. According to media reports, the Nepal government has issued a new Ordinance. Under this new arrangement of Nepal, only after the lab test in Kathmandu, the Indian fruits and vegetables can get NOC. After getting the NOC from Nepal then the fruits or vegetables will be allowed to get into Nepal market.
Only after getting NOC, the sale of vegetable can be sold.

Nepal’s customs department has returned hundreds of Indian trucks after the vegetables did not fit into the lab test. The decision of the Nepal government, many businessmen have been forced to sell fruits and vegetables at local prices to the local barristers. Many still stand in queue waiting for Nepalese officials to get green signal. In this problem, Indian officials have told high officials about the situation and there is a point to resolving the problem at the earliest.

According to the new law made by the Nepal government, now all the vegetables and fruits sold in Nepal will be tested in the lab. And Only then will they be allowed to sell.

WHY NEPAL RETURNED INDIAN TRUCKS ?

The media reports says that on India’s vegetables and fruits pesticides are being used on massive scale. By which Nepal citizens are being affected by its use people are getting sick and health problem.
In such a way, fruits and vegetables coming to Nepal from India will be examined in their Lab located in Kathmandu. And only after the standards are fulfilled will be allowed to bring the goods to Nepal.

Authorities on this whole issue say that on 17th June. The Nepal government had took the decision that vegetables and fruits will not be taken from India without investigation.

NEPAL REVENGE OF 2015 BLOCKADE

The whole seen is making the image of 2015 Nepal blockade. At that time Nepal has pointed towards India and said India has stopped trade but the thousand of trucks with loaded and were waiting to enter in Nepal. Now the trucks are weighting to cross border. But Nepal has stopped and returned the Indian trucks. As the fruits and vegetables have been tested in Nepal lab and were not found chemical free and pest free.

After the decision, the Nepal Government returned many Indian trucks. At present, the Indian High Commission is in talks with officials of Nepal in this regard and will solve this problem at the earliest.
