Meghalaya Guy, 80, “Buried Alive Over Witchcraft”, eight Arrested: Police

An 80-year-old guy used to be allegedly buried alive by means of his family in Meghalaya over the suspicion that he practiced witchcraft, police stated. 8 other people, 3 of whom are his nephews, were arrested up to now, they added.

The niece used to be in poor health for the remaining 3 months, and her circle of relatives blamed Mr Marngar for her sickness. The accused reportedly instructed police that the woman recovered following Mr Marngar’s dying.

The police, in keeping with information company PTI, suspects involvement of 18 contributors of the prolonged circle of relatives within the killing.
