“Hi there Child…”: Adnan Sami Responds To Congress’s “Chamchagiri” Assault

Singer-musician Adnan Sami on Monday lashed out at Congress spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill for his scathing remarks about being awarded the Padma Shri, India’s fourth-highest civilian honour.

The Congress chief on Sunday had attacked the centre for awarding the Padma Shri to Pakistan-born Adnan Sami.
The Congress requested why Mohmmad Sannaullah, a Kargil Conflict veteran, was once declared a foreigner in the course of the Nationwide Sign up of Voters or NRC for Assam, whilst the Adnan Sami, the son of a Pakistan Air Power pilot, was once conferred the Padma award.

On the other hand, senior Congress chief Digvijaya Singh congratulated Mr Sami on being honoured with the Padma Shri.
“Congratulations to all Padma Awardees. I’m more than happy that Adnan Sami well-known singer and musician and Pakistani Muslim immigrant has additionally been given Padma Shri,” Mr Singh tweeted, additionally attacking the federal government for the debatable Citizenship Modification Act.
