Arrest of Hindu monk in Bangladesh ignites protests

This week saw significant demonstrations by the Hindu minority in Bangladesh following the arrest of Hindu monk Chinmoy Das. His arrest has raised global concerns about the UNICEF government’s stance on Hindus. Despite representing just 7.95 per cent of the population, Hindus face ongoing attacks and persecution.
