Bhadohi (Uttar Pradesh):
A girl on Monday accused BJP MLA Ravindranath Tripathi and 6 others of raping her in Uttar Pradesh’s Bhadohi.
“The girl, whose husband died in 2007, met MLA Ravindranath Tripathi’s nephew in 2014. She stated that she used to be bodily exploited by way of him for a few years at the pretext of marriage,” police reputable Ram Badan Singh stated.
“The girl additional stated that the MLA’s nephew were given her lodged in a Bhadohi lodge for approximately a month throughout the 2017 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Meeting elections the place she used to be raped by way of the MLA and his circle of relatives,” Mr Singh added.
The case has been passed over to Further Superintendent of Police.
