Who is Ashley St Clair? Columnist claims she is mother of Elon Musk’s 13th child
Elon Musk, who is often seen with his son X even during his press conference at the Oval Office in White House, found himself in a fresh controversy as an influencer claimed that she is the mother of his 13th child. Ashley St Clair, a 26-year-old MAGA writer, claimed on X that she gave birth to Musk’s child five months ago but kept it a secret to protect the child’s safety.
“Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father. I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause,” she wrote on X.
“I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment. For that reason, I ask that the media honor our child’s privacy, and refrain from invasive reporting,” St. Clair added.
In reply to Elon Musk’s comment to a post on X, she claimed that the Tesla founder has not been responding to her. In a now deleted comment, she wrote, “Elon, We have been trying to communicate for the past several days, and you have not yet responded. When are you going to reply to us instead of publicly responding to smears from an individual who just posted photos of me in underwear at 15 years old?”
Brian Glicklich, St. Clair’s representative, also shared a statement on Saturday night in a post on X that claimed his client and Musk “have been privately working towards the creation of an agreement about raising their child for some time.”
“It is disappointing that a tabloid reporter, who repeatedly ambushed Ashley and her family, made it impossible to complete that process confidentially. “We are waiting for Elon to publicly acknowledge his parental role with Ashley, to end unwarranted speculation, and Ashley trusts that Elon intends to finish their agreement quickly, in the best interests of the wellbeing and security of the child they share,” Glicklich said.

- St. Clair, in an interview with The New York Post published Saturday, claimed that Elon Musk “slid into her DMs” on X in May 2023. She said she met Musk for the first time in San Francisco when she was 24 and their romance grew from there.
- Daily Mail reported that St. Clair moved to an upscale Manhattan apartment near City Hall about a year ago rent estimated between $12,000 and $15,000 per month.
- She attended Mar-a-Lago, where Donald Trump hosted his election night event. She also shared photos alongside Congressman Matt Gaetz’s wife, Ginger, and GOP spokeswoman Elizabeth Pipko.
HOW ASHLEY MET ELON
“It started with X interactions and he slid into my DMs,” St Clair told The New York Post.
She could not recall the exact text but said, “I think it was a meme.” St Clair admitted that she “didn’t particularly have much interest in Elon” at that time, but knew him due to his $44 billion acquisition of Twitter months earlier.
“At one point, he asked, ‘Are you ever in San Francisco or Austin?’.” St. Clair claimed. “And I replied, ‘I am in Austin and Texas quite often for work’.” Shortly after, her company asked her to fly to San Francisco within 48 hours to interview Musk, she told The Post.
“After the interview, I received a text from him asking, ‘Feel like going to Providence [Rhode Island] tonight?’,” she alleged. Soon after, she found herself expecting his 13th child.
Elon Musk has 12 children with three women, including twins and triplets with his first wife, Justine Wilson (Vivian, Griffin, Kai, Saxon, and Damian), three children with the singer Grimes, and twins (Strider and Azure) with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis.
