Congress chief Rahul Gandhi on Monday mentioned violence won’t ever win in Kashmir, as he condoled the dying of a sarpanch (village head) who used to be shot lifeless in Anantnag district this night.
Ajay Pandita, a Kashmiri pandit sarpanch of the Larkipora house in Anantnag district and a member of the Congress celebration, used to be shot lifeless through terrorists in his local village round 6 pm, the police mentioned.
Mr Gandhi mentioned that Pandita sacrificed his existence for the democratic procedure in Kashmir.
“My condolences to the friends and family of Ajay Pandita, who sacrificed his existence for the democratic procedure in Kashmir. We stand with you on this time of grief. Violence won’t ever win,” he mentioned on Twitter.
