We all know paneer makhani; well, veg makhani just gives a veggie spin to it. Crispy vegetables are bathed in a creamy cashew-tomato curry to make this delicious recipe. Serve this lip-smacking veg makhani with roti or rice for your daily meal. You can also spruce it by pairing the makhani with paneer pulao.
Veg Makhani Recipe: How To Make Veg Makhanwala
Saute the chopped cauliflower, potatoes, beans, carrots and peas. Keep this aside. Soak cashew in hot water for 30 mins. Grind the soaked cashew, chopped tomato, ginger and garlic and make a smooth paste.
Heat butter in a pan. Saute tej patta and the tomato-cashew paste. Add turmeric powder, and red chilli powder and fry the spices. Pour the water and add the green chilli. Let it cook for a while. Once it thickens and adds the sauteed vegetables, garam masala, sugar, salt and cream. Combine this with the gravy and remove it from the flame. The veg makhanwala is ready!
