A rape case has been been filed in opposition to a BJP MLA from Uttar Pradesh and his six members of the family. The lady, 40, had first filed a grievance in opposition to Bhadohi MLA Ravindra Nath Tripathi’s nephew for allegedly raping her at the pretext of marriage. She later added the chief’s title to her grievance, the police mentioned.

“The complainant had mentioned that the MLA’s nephew Sandeep Tiwari had established sexual family members along with her at the pretext of marriage. She later levelled identical fees in opposition to the MLA and other folks of the circle of relatives. The complainant has alleged that during 2017, Ravindra Nath Tripathi and his six accomplices confined her at a lodge for a month and many times raped her, the officer instructed PTI.
