The Badaun police has invoked Nationwide Safety Act (NSA) in opposition to 11 other folks arrested on fees of cow slaughtering on October 8. The accused, elderly between 25 and 50 years, are lodged within the Badaun district prison.
“Police despatched its report back to the district Justice of the Peace and on final touch of due process, the DM has invoked NSA in opposition to the 11 accused,” stated Praveen Singh Chauhan, Further Superintendent of Police, Badaun.
Amongst the ones arrested, 9 of them are citizens of Gurupuri Chandan village, whilst two others are from neighbouring Dalmai village. 3 of the accused are migrant labourers who had returned to their local puts after the national lockdown used to be enforced, stated police.
