“Exceptional Brilliance”: PM Joins India In Mourning Dilip Kumar

Top Minister Narendra Modi led a national outpouring of tributes this morning as India misplaced one of the crucial mythical Bollywood actors – Dilip Kumar. He was once 98.
The Bollywood veteran died at Mumbai’s Hinduja Health center this morning after a chronic sickness. His iconic films, together with “Devdas” and ancient romance “Mughal-e-Azam”, touched thousands and thousands of hearts. He had won Padma Vibhushan, the Padma Bhushan, the Dada Saheb Phalke award and a large number of different accolades for his contribution to Indian cinema.
“Dilip Kumar Ji will probably be remembered as a cinematic legend. He was once blessed with remarkable brilliance, because of which audiences throughout generations had been enthralled. His passing away is a loss to our cultural international. Condolences to his circle of relatives, buddies and innumerable admirers. RIP. (sic),” PM Modi tweeted.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh additionally paid tribute on Twitter: “Shri Dilip Kumar ji was once an excellent actor, a real thespian who was once neatly appeared by way of everybody for his exemplary contribution to the Indian movie trade. His performances in motion pictures like Ganga Jamuna touched a chord in thousands and thousands of cinegoers. I am deeply anguished by way of his dying. (sic)”.
