Former Top Minister H D Deve Gowda on Thursday requested the Centre to regard farmers with dignity and interact with them, as he expressed “excessive misery” over police disagreement with them.
Farmers from Punjab confronted water cannons and broke police limitations on the states’ border with Haryana as they driven in opposition to the nationwide capital on Thursday of their ”Delhi Chalo” march towards the Centres farm regulations.
“I’m extraordinarily distressed seeing the photographs of disagreement with farmers close to Delhi.I request the Union Executive to regard farmers with dignity. Please interact with them.Concentrate to them. Police pressure
can not resolve the issue.#FarmersProtest,” Mr Gowda tweeted.
The farmers are hard repeal of the brand new farm regulations which decontrol the sale of agricultural produce.
