“Time To Introspect”: Congress Chief As Urmila Matondkar Joins Shiv Sena

Former Maharashtra minister and Congress chief Rajendra Darda has stated actress Urmila Matondkar’s transfer to change over to the Shiv Sena is a loss for the Congress, and it’s top time that the party will have to introspect.
Actress-turned-politician Urmila Matondkar, who unsuccessfully contested the 2019 Lok Sabha elections on a Congress price ticket, joined the Shiv Sena on Tuesday.
In a tweet on Tuesday night time, Mr Darda stated, “Assured & flamboyant actress @UrmilaMatondkar switching over to @ShivSena is a positive loss to @INCIndia.”
“Smartly-versed in Marathi, she’s going to, surely, be an asset to Sena. It is top time for the Congress to introspect and the ShivSena to have fun!!”
Ms Matondkar, 46, surrender the Congress in September 2019, just about 5 months after she was once defeated by means of BJP’s Gopal Shetty from North Mumbai Lok Sabha seat.

She joined the Shiv Sena within the presence of party president and Maharashtra Leader Minister Uddhav Thackeray at his place of dwelling ”Matoshri” in Mumbai’s Bandra space on Tuesday.
Sena resources stated Urmila Matondkar’s title was once forwarded to Governor B S Koshyari by means of the party lately for nomination to the Legislative Council from the governor’s quota.
