Teens spot Bigfoot-like creature with ‘glowing eyes’ at US forest, call cops

‘What did I just see?’ – A group of teenagers who were camping in a forest in the US’s Louisiana must have asked themselves this question after an alleged sighting of a Bigfoot-like creature with “glowing eyes” terrified them and caused panic.

The group of high school graduates were camping in the Kisatchie National Forest, about 100 miles northwest of Baton Rouge, when they reported the frightening encounter last week, a police statement said.

After the teenagers aged between 17 and 18 set up their camps, one member called 911, scared, and requested assistance because “they reportedly heard a growl and saw what appeared to be an animal that had glowing eyes and stood about 5-feet tall.” the statement added.

The incident happened at around 9.20 pm on June 28.

Two police officers were assigned to the call, and they responded to the scene. Then, they walked towards the teenagers’ camp site, watchful of any ‘Bigfoot’ sightings.

At this point, the group whistled, and the officers heard it. Following the whistle, when the officers located the teenagers, they were found unharmed.

The police then successfully escorted the group out of the forest after being unable to “locate any suspicious activity involving a growl with glowing eyes and standing 5-feet tall”.

The officers then congratulated the teenagers and thanked them for visiting the national forest before wishing them “good luck in your future”.

According to The New York Post, this is not the first Bigfoot sighting in the Kisatchie National Forest. In 2019, two self-proclaimed Bigfoot researchers claimed they had visual and audio evidence of the cryptid’s existence in the dense, 600,000-acre woods.

Furthermore, in October last year, a man and his wife on a romantic getaway recorded a video of a creature claimed to be a Bigfoot walking around in Colorado.
