T20 World Cup 2024 Super 8 Points Table: Australia pip India to top Group 1; England lead Group 2
The T20 World Cup 2024 Super Eight stage commenced on June 19 with eight teams slotted across two groups in another round-robin format.
India, Australia, Afghanistan and Bangladesh formed Group 1 of the Super 8s while hosts West Indies, England, South Africa and the United States made up Group 2.
While India opened their campaign with a 47-run win over Afghanistan in Bridgetown on Thursday, Australia hammered Bangladesh by 28 runs in a DLS win in Antigua. England stand atop Group 2 after their eight-wicket win over the West Indies. South Africa had opened their Super 8 campaign with an 18-run win over the United States on Wednesday.

Where will the semifinals and final of the 2024 T20 World Cup be played?
The top two sides from each group qualify for the semifinals. The semifinals will be played at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy and Providence Stadium in Guyana on June 26 and 27.
The final of the 2024 T20 World Cup will be played at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on June 29.
