Smallville Star Allison Mack Went From NXIVM Cult To Marrying A Famous Former Neo-Nazi! – Perez Hilton

Allison Mack went from one incredibly problematic man to another!

Back in June, we reported the Smallville alum tied the knot two years after she was released from prison early. For those who need a refresher, Allison confessed to recruiting and blackmailing women into becoming adult slaves for NXIVM cult leader Keith Raniere following her 2018 arrest. However, she was not only a recruiter, she was one of the highest-ranking members of the adult cult, so these poor women got Raniere’s AND her initials branded on their bodies. Awful.

The actress was sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to racketeering and racketeering conspiracy in 2021, but she didn’t serve her full time. Allison got out after only 21 months behind bars… and met a man. We didn’t know much about her hubby when the shocking report dropped — other than that his name is Frank. We didn’t even get a last name at the time. Now more is coming to light about him, all because Allison is sharing her side of the adult cult story on the Allison After NXIVM podcast. And it turns out he has an extremely disturbing past, just like his new bride.

During the seventh episode of the podcast, it is revealed that almost a year after Allison left prison, she was “walking her dog” in February 2024 when she met a man named Frank Meeink, who is described as “an attractive, heavily tattooed guy in his late 40s with slick back hair.” What’s more, he has a very dark past.

Podcast host, journalist Natalie Robehmed, spilled that he is a “renowned former neo-Nazi” who has been in and out of prison for years! What the f**k! According to his 2010 book, Autobiography of a Recovering Skinhead, Meeink became a white supremacist skinhead gang member as a teenager in Pennsylvania. And he made sure everyone knew exactly who he was. He got a swastika tattooed on his neck and the word skinhead on his knuckles. Just disgusting.

At 17, Meeink was arrested and sentenced for kidnapping and nearly killing a man. Being behind bars was eye-opening for the criminal, though. According to the podcast, he began to de-radicalize his beliefs and “left the white supremacist movement” in the 1990s after he was released. If you’ve ever seen the 1998 movie American History X, it is loosely based on Meeink’s story.

Meeink has since turned his life around. Robehmed noted he now “works at a nonprofit with unhoused people” and connects them to resources, adding:

“He does public speaking and civil rights activism on the side, even testifying in front of a house subcommittee in 2020 on white supremacy in policing. In some ways, Frank is a poster boy for changing your mind.”

When we heard Allison married a man named Frank, we expected him to be some random guy — not a famous former Neo-Nazi! Jeez! But given her history, we guess we shouldn’t be surprised…

As for how the rest of their love story goes? Allison, who appeared on the podcast with Meeink, went on to share that after they met last year, he invited her to a Thai restaurant where he worked as a waiter. Days later, she went there with her mom, Mindy. She continued:

“He had told the whole staff that I was going to be coming in sometime this week, and to call him boss because he wanted them to make it look like he was more important in the restaurant than he was.”

During their conversation, Meeink told the pair that he was a public speaker, focusing on “tolerance and de-radicalization and police reform.” He and Allison instantly connected because she is “really passionate about prison reform.” However, there was one issue. He didn’t know about her history yet. Allison didn’t keep it a secret for long. Following their first date, she told Meeink “everything” about what she did in the NXIVM adult cult. And when Allison asked him if he judged her, he recalled responding:

“I just looked at her and said, you know, I’m a former neo-Nazi who used to kidnap people. Do you think I have any room to judge you? … No, I don’t judge you at all.”

Meeink added:

“From the work that I’ve done with former jihadists, former gangbangers, former neo-Nazis, I mean, I’ve worked in that world for a long time. I think people don’t understand what it’s like when you get stuck in something like that. And it’s the one thing that validates you. It’s hard to get out.”
