Shah launches Ayushman Bharat well being scheme for Central Armed Police Forces
Union House Minister Amit Shah on Saturday rolled out the ‘Ayushman CAPF’ scheme, extending the advantage of the central medical health insurance programme to the staff of all armed police forces within the nation.
Shah ceremoniously allotted the ‘Ayushman CAPF’ well being playing cards amongst some staff from the seven Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) right here.
Underneath this scheme, round 28 lakh staff of CAPF, Assam Rifles and Nationwide Safety Guard (NSG) and their households shall be lined through ‘Ayushman Bharat: Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana’ (AB PM-JAY).
An MoU used to be signed between the Nationwide Well being Authority (NHA) and the Union House Ministry in presence of Shah, Assam Leader Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Union Minister of State for House Affairs Nityanand Rai and state Well being Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on the CRPF Staff Centre in Guwahati.
