The 8.Five km tunnel between Quazigund and Banihal, which is able to scale back commute time between Jammu and Srinagar through about 1.Five hours and 16 km, has been opened to site visitors for trial, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari stated on Thursday.
The Highway Shipping and Highways Minister in a tweet stated that, constructed at 5,800 ft above sea stage, the tunnel will change Jawahar tunnel and can supply all climate connectivity.
