Quake of 6.four magnitude hits Pakistan

In line with the Nationwide Seismic Tracking Centre, the epicentre of the earthquake used to be in Tajikistan, with intensity of 80 km.

The tremor used to be felt in capital Islamabad and primary towns of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab provinces and Pakistan occupied-Kashmir.

Stills on information channels confirmed panic-stricken folks speeding out in their houses, reciting verses from the Holy Quran. No losses of lifestyles or assets has been reported thus far.

Pakistan geologically overlaps the Eurasian and Indian tectonic plates and is an earthquake-prone zone. The Chaman Fault poses the most important danger of quakes to the rustic.
