Pune Institute Wins Smart India Hackathon 2020


DIAT has gained the primary prize within the Good India Hackathon (SIH) 2020.

Pune-based Defence Institute of Complex Era (DIAT) has gained the primary prize within the Good India Hackathon (SIH) 2020, a national-level virtual product construction festival.

The Defence Ministry, in a observation, stated DIAT’s staff of six participants equipped an answer titled “DRISHTI” to recognise face, expression and gesture the use of synthetic intelligence (AI).

The staff, led by means of Dr Sunita Dhavale, gained the primary prize of Rs 1 lakh “for fixing downside observation MS331 within the class of instrument posed by means of the Madhya Pradesh govt”, it stated.

DIAT is a deemed college underneath the ministry’s Division of Defence Analysis and Building.

G Satheesh Reddy, Secretary, Division of Defence Analysis and Building, has congratulated the DIAT Group on successful the award for a consecutive 2nd time.
