A video clip purportedly appearing a person being thrashed via a police constable and a few Border Roads Organisation (BRO) body of workers in Rohtang’s Atal Tunnel has long gone viral on social media, prompting the Himachal Pradesh Police to begin a probe.
The incident came about on Saturday, the police mentioned on Sunday.
Within the 1.8-minute-long video, the person is noticed bent over along with his hands looped in the back of the legs to carry his ears. He’s kicked within the face and slapped via the body of workers.
Prima facie, one police constable and a few BRO body of workers had been concerned on this incident, Kullu Superintendent of Police Gaurav Singh mentioned.
A probe has been initiated within the subject. DSP Manali is heading the inquiry, he mentioned.
On December 24, 10 vacationers from Delhi had been arrested and their vehicles impounded when they stopped throughout the tunnel and danced, resulting in a visitors jam.
