President Ram Nath Kovind Condoles Death Of Nuclear Scientist Sekhar Basu

New Delhi:
President Ram Nath Kovind expressed his condolences to the friends and family of Dr. Sekhar Basu, former Chairman of the Atomic Power Fee and Nuclear Scientist, who passed on to the great beyond on Thursday.
“Loss of life of veteran scientist Padma Shri Dr Sekhar Basu is a large loss to the country. A former chairman of Atomic Power Fee, he used to be a stalwart of nuclear science analysis and immensely contributed to nuclear powered submarine INS Arihant. Condolences to his friends and family,” President Kovind wrote on Twitter.
Dr Basu died at a non-public medical institution in Kolkata on Thursday. He used to be 68.
