President Ram Nath Kovind and Top Minister Narendra Modi Saturday paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on his loss of life anniversary. Gandhi used to be assassinated on these days in 1948 by means of Nathuram Godse. His loss of life anniversary is noticed as Martyrs’ Day.

President Kovind, in his message, mentioned folks will have to adhere to Mahatma Gandhi’s beliefs of peace and non-violence.
“On behalf of a thankful country, my humble tributes to the Father of the Country, Mahatma Gandhi who embraced martyrdom these days. We will have to adhere to his beliefs of peace, non-violence, simplicity, purity of manner and humility. Allow us to get to the bottom of to apply his trail of fact and love,” he tweeted.
