President Accepts Harsimrat Badal’s Resignation Amid Row Over Farm Bills

President Ram Nath Kovind on Friday accredited the resignation of Meals Processing Industries Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal, who had resigned in protest towards 3 farm sector expenses.
The Shiromani Akali Dal chief resigned on Thursday.
“The President of India, as suggested by means of the high minister, has accredited the resignation of Harsimrat Kaur Badal from the Union Council of Ministers, with quick impact,” the Rashtrapati Bhavan mentioned in a remark.
