Over 7 Lakh Teachers Have Been Trained Under NISHTHA Programme: Centre

Under the Nationwide Initiative for College Heads’ and Teachers’ Holistic Development (NISHTHA) programme, the federal government has imparted coaching to greater than 7 lakh lecturers and head lecturers. The ideas was once shared via Union Human Useful resource Building Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ whilst replying to Jagdambika Friend’s query at the growth made with reference to NISHTHA programme.
The NISHTHA programme was launched in August, 2019 to coach over 42 lakh lecturers and heads of colleges on the basic stage in all govt faculties, college contributors of State Councils of Instructional Analysis and Coaching (SCERTs), District Institutes of Schooling and Coaching (DIETs) in addition to Block Useful resource Coordinators and Cluster Useful resource Coordinators in all states and union territories (UTs).
The learning modules for NISHTHA were evolved via a consultative procedure involving the ideas from the states and Union Territories (UTs) and Central Board of Secondary Schooling (CBSE), Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), College Principals and Non-Governmental Organizations, equivalent to Kaivalya Basis, Tata Believe, Azim Premji Basis and Aurobindo Society.
The learning will likely be imparted via 33120 Key Useful resource Individuals (KRPs) and State Useful resource Individuals (SRP) recognized via the state and UTs, who will in flip be educated via 120 Nationwide Useful resource Individuals recognized from Nationwide Council of Instructional Analysis and Coaching (NCERT), Nationwide Institute of Instructional Making plans and Management (NIEPA), KVS, NVS, CBSE and Non-Govt Organisations.
As of now, 21224 Key Useful resource Individuals were educated.
The programme has already begun in all states, apart from in West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala.
