The rescue operation of greater than 500 vacationers, who’ve been stranded on the street between South Portal of Atal Tunnel and Solang Nalla in Manali of Kullu district in Himachal Pradesh following heavy rainfall is underway.
Raman Gharsangi, Sub Divisional Justice of the Peace (SDM) Manali in a remark mentioned that efforts are being made to revive vehicular visitors and rescue stranded folks.
“Rescue groups reached Dhundi round eight pm. Over twenty 4X4 rescue cars with rescue groups despatched with orders to offer amenities for stranded folks. Taxis and one 48 seater bus additionally moved to Kulang in order that evacuated individuals might be shifted. Rescue continues to be underway,” Gharsangi mentioned.

In the meantime, the Meteorological Division on Tuesday issued a ”yellow” climate caution for heavy snow fall in Himachal Pradesh.
