Addressing a buyers’ meet in Prayagraj, Maurya stated in Hindi, “Ahead of 2017 polls, what number of lungi chhaap goons used to roam round.. the ones dressed in jalidar topi with weapons of their palms… Who used to threaten buyers?”

“For the reason that BJP govt used to be shaped, are you able to even see such goons?” he stated.

In the meantime , the Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha has expressed displeasure over Maurya’s tweet at the Mathura temple and stated the BJP is best all for getting votes within the upcoming polls.

The Hindu Mahasabha had previous proposed to put in an idol of Krishna inside of a mosque in Mathura on December 6 — the anniversary of the Babri Masjid demolition. The outfit claims that the deity’s “precise birthplace” is throughout the mosque.

Then again, after the district management imposed prohibitory orders below CrPC Segment 144 on November 28 and objected to the programme, the outfit withdrew its plan.
