Veteran ace singer S P Balasubrahmanyam was once posthumously honoured with the Padma Vibhushan at a rite on the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi. For the topic of truth, Padma Vibhushan is the second-highest civilian award within the nation.

Balasubrahmanyam, popularly referred to as SPB, kicked the bucket in September 2020 because of COVID-19 headaches on the age of 74. He was once a playback singer, tune director, and dubbing artist. He has sung over 40,000 songs in 16 languages in his storied and prolific occupation.
