Eid for 122 prisoners lodged out of doors Jammu and Kashmir used to be now not a lonely one as at the initiative of the House Ministry, every of them controlled to talk to their households again house and alternate greetings.

“As a goodwill gesture, particular permission used to be given to all to talk to their households and alternate needs,” a senior officer within the House Ministry informed NDTV.

In line with him, since those prisoners were lodged out of doors Jammu and Kashmir, Eid greetings with members of the family don’t seem to be that steadily.

“Amid the coronavirus pandemic, it is tougher for his or her households to trip, so particular preparations had been made and permission used to be given to all,” he stated, including every prisoner used to be given a selected time to talk with their members of the family.

In line with House Ministry information, out of 122 prisoners lodged out of doors Jammu and Kashmir, 106 are in Uttar Pradesh, 15 in Haryana and one in Delhi.

“They have got been lodged in those jails for quite a lot of offences. It used to be the House Ministry’s initiative to attach them with their households on Eid,” an officer stated.

In Uttar Pradesh they’re lodged in Agra’s Central Prison, Central Prison Naini in Prayagraj, Central Prison in Varanasi, District Prison Bareilly, District Prison Ambedkar Nagar and District Prison in Lucknow.

Whilst 15 in Haryana are lodged in district prisons of Karnal and Jhajjar and in Delhi in Tihar prison.

“Sure some of the prisoners on this listing is lodged in Tihar and we granted particular permission to him to talk to his circle of relatives,” DG (Tihar) Sandeep Goel informed NDTV.
