Iran hangs 3 ‘Israeli spies’, arrests 700 others day after US-brokered ceasefire
Iran has executed three men accused of spying for Israel’s spy agency Mossad, the judiciary’s Mizan news agency reported. Additionally, as many as 700 people have been arrested for ties with the Jewish nation, the state-affiliated Nournews reported.
The developments come a day after both Israel and Iran agreed to a ceasefire proposal brokered by the US, following 12 days of fierce conflict.
