IPL Points Table 2025 after SRH vs DC: Hyderabad rain knocks Sunrisers out of Playoffs, Delhi’s winless streak continues
IPL 2025 Points Table After IPL Today Match Update: A mid-innings downpour washed out a crucial fixture between the SunRisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, making decisive marks on their respective Playoffs hopes this season.
The one-point split meant that Pat Cummins’ Hyderabad were officially eliminated from the Playoffs race, mustering only seven points from 11 outings thus far. Meanwhile, Delhi remained fifth on the points table, with 13 points in 11 matches. DC are now winless in three matches and will need to win all three of their forthcoming matches to keep themselves afloat in the chase.
Hosts SRH gave Delhi a scare on Monday evening when they inflicted a top-order collapse, courtesy of Cummins’ Powerplay burst with three wickets. Lower-order rearguards from Ashutosh Sharma and Tristan Stubbs helped DC through to 133 for seven in 20 overs before the heavens opened up.
