Indian Military To Take part In Army Workout In Bangladesh From April 4-12

The Indian Military will take part in a four-nation army workout in Bangladesh from April Four to 12 which is being organised to mark the start centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and 50 years of that nation’s liberation struggle, officers stated on Thursday.

A 30-member Indian Military workforce comprising officials, junior commissioned officials (JCOs) and squaddies from the Dogra regiment will take part within the workout ”Shantir Ogroshena” (entrance runner of peace), they stated.

But even so armies of Bangladesh and India, the workout might be participated by way of Royal Bhutan Military and Sri Lankan Military, the defence ministry stated.

“The theme of the workout is ”Powerful Peace Maintaining Operations”. Army observers from the United States, UK, Turkey, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Singapore can be in attendance all the way through the workout,” it stated.

The 12 months 2021 marks the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Bangladesh and the start centenary of Rahman.
