India on Thursday wired the significance of Sri Lanka adhering to its world commitments in relation to building of the East Container Terminal of the Colombo Port, days after the island country cancelled a trilateral settlement for the mission.

India, Japan and Sri Lanka had inked an settlement in 2019 on building of the terminal mission. The Sri Lankan govt on Monday determined at hand over the mission to a state-run corporate following an agitation in opposition to the undertaking involving India and Japan.
