In visuals: China does a Galwan against Philippines in South China Sea


Chinese military personnel rammed two Philippine navy boats, boarded them and used axes, spears, machetes and hammers to damage the boats. The Chinese aggression in a disputed area of the South China Sea seemed similar to China’s Galwan Valley attack of June 2020.

Chinese Coast Guard does a Galwan-like aggression against Philippines troops.

Long knives, axes and spears were the choice of weapons for Chinese troops.

They stopped troops sailing to Second Thomas Shoal.

Both China & Philippines claim over Scarborough Shoal & Second Thomas Shoal.

Chinese troops attacked unarmed Indians with rods, spears & clubs in Galwan.
Philippines has called the Chinese action “aggressive” & urged Beijing to walk the talk.
