The Delhi Top Court docket on Tuesday requested the Centre and others to document a answer at the plea difficult the Military’s promotion coverage formulated in 2017. The coverage says that officials protecting the rank of Primary Common from the Intelligence Corps are particularly held to be ineligible for promotion to the rank of Lieutenant Common for Non-Common Cadre Personnel Circulate vacancies (NGCSS).

A department bench of Justice Manmohan and Justice Navin Chawla requested the Centre, Leader of Military Personnel and Army Secretary to document their answer at the petition.

The petition used to be filed by way of Primary Common SS Khara via advocates Neela Gokhale, Kushal Choudhary. The petitioner, a Primary Common, holds the designation of Further Directorate Common (ADG) of Army Intelligence (B) within the Indian Military.
