Saloni Kukreja calls it the “anti-hangover shot” aka “immunity shot.” She explains, “The first shot you should take before your New Year Eve’s party is this anti-hangover shot. It has a lot of coconut water which is packed with electrolytes.” That’s not all, the drink also contains a sufficient quantity of lemon juice which according to the culinary expert “supports detoxification”. The next ingredient in the magic drink is ginger juice, infused with the goodness of anti-inflammatory properties.
A little bit of sea salt in the drink will help you keep the electrolyte balance. Not to forget, sea salt is packed with nutrients that aid in retaining fluids and keep you hydrated for a longer period. Saloni Kukreja adds that the anti-hangover shot also contains, “honey which aids digestion and a pinch of turmeric and pepper which have natural anti-inflammatory properties.” She recommends shaking it up well before drinking.
