An influential former Chinese language assets govt and critic of President Xi Jinping has been ousted from China’s ruling Communist birthday celebration, a understand from the Beijing district govt confirmed Thursday.
Ren Zhiqiang, former chairman of state-controlled assets developer Huayuan Actual Property Workforce, had known as Xi a “clown” over a speech he made in February about govt efforts to struggle the coronavirus.
In a understand on Thursday evening, the watchdog mentioned Ren have been ousted from the Chinese language Communist Birthday celebration as a result of he was once in “serious violation of self-discipline and regulation”.
It accused Ren of “shedding religion”, “no longer being aligned with the birthday celebration on necessary issues of concept”, “vilifying the picture of birthday celebration and nation” and being disloyal and cheating to the birthday celebration.
