Emirates, one of World’s Biggest Long-haul Airlines, to Lay Off More Pilots, Cabin Crew Today

Dubai: Emirates, probably the most international’s largest long-haul airways, will lay off extra pilots and cabin team on Wednesday, assets mentioned, in what could be a 2nd day of redundancies.

An Emirates spokeswoman declined to remark past the airline’s remark on Tuesday that some staff were laid off. No additional main points had been supplied.

The Dubai state airline laid off masses of pilots and 1000’s of cabin team on Tuesday in a bid to stave off a money crunch brought about through the coronavirus pandemic, assets informed Reuters.

Extra redundancies had been anticipated this week, together with each Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 pilots, the assets mentioned on Tuesday.
