Election Body Organises Memorial Lecture To Honour Its First Chief Sukumar Sen

As a tribute to India’s first Leader Election Commissioner Sukumar Sen, the Election Fee of India organised the primary memorial lecture in Delhi on Thursday.
Sukumar Sen had served as the primary Leader Election Commissioner of India from March 21, 1950, until 19th December 1958.
The memorial lecture was once addressed via former President of India Pranab Mukherjee.
Mr Mukherjee stated: “(Sukumar) Sen, via seamlessly engaging in the primary two Basic Elections, aided India’s transition from a Crown colony to the sovereign Democratic Republic in sensible phrases.”
