ED Summons Filmmaker Rumi Jafry in Sushant Singh Rajput’s Case
The Enforcement Directorate (ED), which is probing the cash laundering case associated with the demise of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, has summoned filmmaker Rumi Jafry for wondering, best officers stated.
A best ED legitimate instructed IANS, “We’ve summoned Jafry to document his observation beneath the Prevention of Cash Laundering Act (PMLA) day after today.” The legitimate stated that the company will query Jafry about data that the overdue actor shared with him.
Jafry has on various events stated that he was once in talks with Sushant and his female friend Rhea Chakraborty for a movie. The ED has until date recorded the observation of a number of other people within the case together with Rhea, her brother Showik, her father Indrajit, Sushant’s space supervisor Samuel Miranda, his ex-manager Shruti Modi, his private body of workers Ritesh Mewati and Dipesh Sawant, Sushant’s sister Meetu Singh, his CA Sandeep Sridhar, and Rhea’s CA Ritesh Shah.
The ED has taken over the cash laundering probe at the foundation of the Bihar Police’s FIR at the grievance of Sushant’s father Okay.Okay. Singh on July 31. The CBI has additionally taken over the probe on August 6.
