Disciplinary Action Against 10 Cops For Partying During Lockdown In Assam

Assam Leader Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Wednesday directed the state house division to take rapid disciplinary motion and switch ten police males for partying on a cruise send in violation of lockdown and curfew, the Leader Minister’s Place of business mentioned.
An area vernacular newspaper had revealed a record on July six with images of a bunch of officers partying on a cruise send on river Brahmaputra in Guwahati towards lockdown and curfew norms.
“As consistent with route of Leader Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, the state house division has initiated disciplinary motion for switch of the law enforcement officials who took section in an evening birthday celebration in a cruise over River Brahmaputra violating the lockdown and curfew norms within the town”, in keeping with a remark issued via the CMO.
The dep. has initiated steps for switch of 1 Deputy Commisioners of Police (DCP), 4 Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACP), two Officials in Fee of Police stations, two Sub-Inspectors and one Assistant Sub-Inspector of the town police, who took section within the birthday celebration, the remark added.
Assam Leader Secretary Kumar Sanjay Krishna in a letter to Commissioner of Police, Guwahati, had directed him to inquire into the subject, post a record and start up disciplinary lawsuits with intimation to the manager secretary.
“It is usually directed that policemen below your command could also be informed to carefully observe orders issued via the federal government and no longer show movements which might be negative to the guideline of the regulation”, the manager secretary mentioned.
