The federal government on Tuesday appointed senior banker Dinesh Kumar Khara as chairman of the State Financial institution Of India.

He replaces Rajnish Kumar, who finished his three-year time period on Tuesday.

“The central govt appoints Dinesh Kumar Khara as chairman of State Financial institution of India (SBI) for a duration of 3 years with impact from the date of his taking on fee of the put up on or after October 7, 2020 or till additional orders, whichever is previous,” a notification issued by means of the Finance Ministry mentioned.
