CPM Says Senior Chief Attacked Via “BJP Goons” In Tripura

The opposition CPI(M) on Wednesday alleged that its Central Committee member Badal Chowdhury used to be attacked via “BJP-sheltered goons” in South Tripura district.
Mr Chowdhury, the deputy chief of the opposition within the state meeting and previous minister, used to be injured and his automobile used to be broken within the assault, the party mentioned in a observation.
Native BJP leaders denied the rate whilst the police mentioned the subject is being investigated.
The CPI(M) mentioned that the incident befell when Mr Chowdhury and different party leaders have been conserving a programme to watch the dying anniversary of Dhananjay Tripura, a Kokborok language motion martyr, at Manirampara village, round 110km from Agartala.
A bunch of BJP sheltered goons reached the spot on motorbikes and introduced an unprovoked assault on them injuring Chowdhury, the Left party mentioned.
