Corey Feldman Goes Off About ‘Toxic’ BTS Culture Of DWTS As He Slams Former Pro Maks Chmerkovskiy Over Public Criticism! – Perez Hilton
Corey Feldman is not happy about his time on Dancing With The Stars!
Perezcious readers know there has been a lot of drama this season. Sources claimed it has been a “s**t show” backstage, and it is all because of a few jealous pros, feuding stars, and difficult celebrities. One of those tough stars reportedly was Corey.
The Goonies star showed up to rehearsals five days late at the start of the season, costing him and his pro partner Jenna Johnson valuable time to get ready for the first show. He also became distracted by the Charlie Sheen drama, so his head, understandably, wasn’t in the game. Ultimately, because of all that, the pair got the boot during the second week, along with NBA star Baron Davis and his pro partner Britt Stewart.

Afterward, Jenna’s brother-in-law, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, laid bare the difficulty she was having with Corey. Calling out his lack of skills and work ethic, he said:
“Obviously, Jenna has a bit of an uphill climb with Corey, which is easy for everybody to say from [outside], but I know that she’s having a much more difficult time with this entire thing and to the point that it is really difficult for her. And so, I wish her all the best. We’re here. Obviously, we’re all together if you need to be, but you’re talking about a reigning champ, so put some respect on the name, everybody.’
Yikes…
We later heard Jenna threatened to quit DWTS over her disaster of a season with Corey. Now, ahead of the finale next week, Corey is going off about the show! Oh, and blasting Maks! According to Dailymail.com on Saturday, in a preview for an upcoming interview on Gurvey’s Law Radio Show, the actor slammed the “toxic” behind-the-scenes culture of the ballroom competition series. Whoa.
Corey revealed he “will be on again this coming week,” so he can “dance one more time.” However, he is “not excited” to be back. And it’s due to all the negativity surrounding the series. He explained:
“There was a lot of stupidity in the mudslinging that went on behind the scenes. Actually there, everything was great. But the behind-the-scenes drama and BS that people throw around that show, I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s the worst, like, most toxic.”
Wow! We wonder if other stars would agree…
Despite his horrible time on DWTS, Corey insisted Jenna is “wonderful,” adding:
“On the set, everybody gets along. Everybody’s great. Everybody’s happy. You’re working hard. You don’t even have time to look up. You’re just working.”
The gossip with the show, though? It sounds like it got to him. Corey continued:
“But then it’s like you start reading these things in the paper, like, ‘this person’s mad at this person. These people aren’t talking to each other.’ Or ‘are people working hard enough?’ ‘Corey Feldman destroyed the show. He destroyed the whole show because he was such an egomaniac, it’s so difficult to work with.’”
Those last comments obviously came from Maksim. Corey recalled he confronted Jenna about them, saying:
“And then you’re like, where is this coming from? And I asked Jen, I’m like, where is this coming from? She’s like, Oh, it’s just Max. She rolls her eyes. She’s like, ‘Oh, it’s just Max. Don’t pay attention to him. He just wants attention.’ I was like ‘Oh my God.’”
Maks wanted a lot of attention this season, apparently. He also started drama with several pros, notably with Jan Ravnik. He eventually apologized to Taylor Swift‘s backup dancer over his intense criticism of his ballroom skills, and now it sounds like he owes Corey one, too.
