The Congress on Monday arrange a screening committee for the impending Assam meeting elections and appointed former Maharashtra leader minister Prithviraj Chavan as its chairman.

Mr Chavan is part of the ”Staff of 23” Congress leaders who had written to party leader Sonia Gandhi hard an organisational overhaul and inside elections for each publish.
