Centre To Allow Export Of Onions From March 15: Piyush Goyal


Taking to Twitter, Piyush Goyal said that the verdict will build up the source of revenue of farmers.

Union Minister Piyush Goyal on Monday mentioned that the central govt will permit export of onions from March 15.

“The federal government will permit the export of onions from March 15 for the good thing about the farmers,” Mr Goyal mentioned.

Taking to Twitter, Mr Goyal said that the verdict will build up the source of revenue of farmers.

Directorate Normal of Overseas Industry, Division of Trade on Monday issued a notification on this regard, learn a remark.

The notification states that onions, which have been within the “prohibited” class as consistent with the prevailing coverage, shall be beneath the class “loose” within the revised coverage. The impact of the notification shall be that the export of all types of onions has been made ”loose” with none situation of Letter Of Credit score and Minimal Export Worth, with impact from March 15, the remark added.
