The Union Ministry of House Affairs on Sunday convened a gathering to “talk about problems associated with Gorkhaland” in Delhi on October 7. It has invited the West Bengal govt, the Gorkha Territorial Management (GTA), and the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM).
In a notification, the Centre stated the assembly can be held below the chairmanship of Minister of State for House Affairs G Kishan Reddy. The invitees are the state house secretary, the district Justice of the Peace of Darjeeling, GTA predominant secretary, and the president of GJM. Resources stated the GJM would attend the assembly.
