The CBI on Monday filed a price sheet towards BSF Commandant Satish Kumar and 6 others for his or her alleged involvement in a livestock smuggling racket working on the India-Bangladesh border, officers mentioned.

The price sheet has been filed towards Kumar, the then Commandant of 36 Battalion BSF, Enamul Haque, Anarul Seikh, Golam Mustafa Taniya Sanyal, Badal Krishna Sanyal and Rashida Bibi, the officers mentioned.

Within the price sheet filed ahead of a unique court docket in West Bengal’s Asansol, the CBI alleged that Haque used to be the mastermind of the unlawful livestock industry and used to be assisted by means of two different accused in connivance with Kumar who used to be deployed at Murshidabad and Maldah.
