CBI books Cambridge Analytica for information robbery of Indian Fb customers


The CBI on Friday registered a case in opposition to British political consulting company Cambridge Analytica and International Science Analysis Ltd for “unlawful harvesting of private information from Fb customers in India”, ANI reported.

This comes two years after Union Knowledge Era Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad had mentioned that the federal government has ordered the CBI to probe the Cambridge Analytica information breach case over doubts of illegally acquiring information of Indians.
