Malaysia Open Badminton 2024 Final Live Score: Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty held a slender 14-13 lead in the final game after being taken into a deciding game by Wang Chang and Liang Weikeng in the men’s doubles final at the Malaysia Open. The Indians had won the first game 21-9 in just 13 minutes before the world champions levelled 18-21.
The Indian duo had defeated Korean pair Kang Min Hyuk and Seo Seung Jae 21-18, 22-20 in straight games. The Indian duo became the first Indians in any discipline to make it to the final of the Malaysia Open in the Open Era (since 1983).
Satwik and Chirag have been the most successful Indian players in the circuit last year, having won the Asian Games gold, titles in Asian Championship, Indonesian Super 1000, Korea Super 500 and Swiss Open Super 300. They also reached the finals of China Masters Super 750 in November last year.
